The first helicopters were produced in the late 1930's and early 1940's. Since then, hundreds of thousands of helicopters have been produced, in hundreds of different variants, but which are the best helicopters in the world? However, as with other types of aircraft, there have been several different types of helicopters developed. Among these are luxury helicopters, military helicopters, utility helicopters, training helicopters and more! This can make classifying the "best helicopters" rather difficult.
